THANK YOU
On this eve of the Grammies where, anyone who chooses to watch, will be flooded with a series of “Thank You”speeches, I have decided that I would go ahead and gush out a thank you speech of my own. It is something that I have always wanted to do. Since I don’t see myself winning any awards anytime soon, I have chosen Frostbike’s final road ride as an opportunity to do a little thanking.
The feelings of astonishment that Frostbike Road 2010 is over can be likenened to those I felt when I watched the final episodes of Mash, The Cosby Show, and Seinfeld. Still having a hard time coming to grips….Anyway…..
I would like to thank…….
Velocity Cafe for their unconditional support.
Cheryl-You took Frostbike to the next level of organization and professionalism. The route that you designed was superb. I can’t even begin to express how much credit that you deserve for Frostbike’s enormous sucess this year. You really took the ball and ran with it. Thank you soooo much Cheryl!
Steph and Jamie–Thank you for all of the “previous year’s” info that was the foundation for this year’s ride. Thank you for all of the executive support along the way for all of those “technical questions” that came our way. There is obviously a reason that you guys are at the helm of the club!
Thank you Kube for all of your unofficial support….guiding me through the maiden voyage of the new route…sweeping when we needed you in a pinch.
Thank you Jessi for sweeping on those occasions when your car was not broken into and for being there with the extra gear.
Thank you Chris and Jean for all of the sponsorship support.
Thank you Chris for putting together such a kick*ss deisgn for the shirts. The look sick cool.
Thank you Carrie and Suzanne for getting such killer t-shirts for us. These shirts are so nice that I feel as if they would be acceptable wedding attire. BTY. Are they dry clean only?
Thank you Lo for showing up. I really enjoyed getting to spend January afternoons riding with my buddy from the mountain bike world. Bunny hopping assorted items in the road and gunning through the puddles and patches of snow was a real rush.
Thank you Alice for putting up with Lo and me.
Thank you T for coming to the rescue with some “real”tire levers on the morning of THE FLAT when we had broken two “not so real” tire levers. We’d still be sitting on the porch of Ventana at this moment had you not come along.
Thank you Judy for putting up with all of our “Captain” jokes.
Thank you Dessa for just being your usual great Dessa.
Thanks for all of the regulars like Audrey,Pam, Maro,Terri, Janet, Nicole,Katie, and Jackie for showing up with such great attitudes.
Thank you all of you new folks like Gerry, Robin, Theresa and many others! You all did great! It was great to meet you all and ride with you. I am so excited that many of you are becoming members!
As usual, I am sure there are people that I have failed to mention. I apologize.
Thank you Suzanne and Jean for receiving the torch and running with it. I can’t tell you how excited that I am that you and Jean came up with the idea for a mountain Frostbike. Both of you epitomize what it means to be a team player. Your enthusiasm is refreshing. Jean, I know that you are going through some tough times. I can really relate. You are in my thoughts everyday. I just hope that everything works out and that I get to ride the trails with ya. There is no doubt in my mind that the fun had in January on the road will, at a minimum, be equaled on the trails. Bring on the mud…bring on the fun!
The Team Rev experience is a sum of many components.
Embrace and enjoy it.
Rev on.

THANK YOU, Kate, for stepping up to the plate along with Cheryl to pull off an amazing FrostBike Road series. I was describing today as bittersweet. FrostBike has been so motivating and bonding that it is hard to see it come to an end. Team Rev is a collection of truly terrific and fantastic women. Only FrostBike “The Road Series” is over… Team Rev 2010 has just begun. Look forward…

Yes, thanks goes out to EVERYONE that made this happen AND participated. Is sure was a lot of fun. Cheryl, thanks for being so serious and dedicated and still putting up with Kate and I! I promise to read through the Rules of Conduct before next year’s FB.
It was great to see so many women join in on the fun. The route change allowed us to stay more as a group; definitely a plus. A force of 14-34 women coming down the streets on bikes in sub freezing temps is definitely a statement!
Lo
Are you sure you’ve never given a (multitude!) of thank you speeches before?!
Sounds like you all had a wonderful time! What a great group of ladies!!
Awww Shucks BR…………
Thank you BR for being a great co-lead! I can’t imagine being a part of organizing Frostbike without you! Thanks to Steph for being there. The true success of Frostbike can be attributed to the 56 women who on a Saturday or a Sunday or both braved the cold and rode. No matter how organized the paperwork, Frostbike would not have happened without you. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to meet each of you. Thanks to C and C for Team Rev! Everyone-Rev On!
