Maintenance!

So you’ve spent winter on the trainer. Or running. Or maybe you’ve ventured out on the recent wet roads fresh with salt and other snow-melting grime. Spring is just around the corner and you’re going to be up and running again. But that thought, that guilt, in the back of your head is creeping up. You know the voice, the one that pipes up everytime your chain makes that weird rubbing sound when you want to change gears. When your chain seems to take time to debate whether or not it’s going to shift.

The voice, oddly in a tone akin to George Castanza’s mother, beckons you to take care of that chain, before it gets any worse. The other voice, much like David Puddy’s, dryly tells you to take your bike to a professional. But, wouldn’t it be better if YOU knew why it made that sound? And better yet, an inclination on how to address it?

Enter, Team Rev. That knowing sympathetic voice that says, “We can teach you.” For a mere fraction of the cost of any shop’s maintenance adjustment, we’ll give you a three-hour tour of your bicycle’s components. To be clear, we won’t spend an hour on tire-changing. And there is SOME assumption of basic knowledge, but we’ll cover as much as we can of the hard-to-understand stuff that your mechanic never has time or patience to walk you through. The small class size should allow for more in-depth, hands-on education. There are only 15 spots, pre-register on-line asap to get in.

Give the voices something else to discuss. Like the weather.
