Froze Toes Cat 4 Race from the Perspective of a Perennial Cat 4

It was a larger than usual field. 18 to be exact. The weather was warmer than normal.
After a more stern than normal “no center line” warning from Aero, the race was underway.
The return to normalcy followed. In typical Cat 4 style, we melted the pavement at 14 mph. “Like your bike”, “Cool sunglasses”, “What’s your [...]

Grand Cru Unicycle Clinic

Grand Cru, a society of beer snobs founded by three Team Rev members, sponsored an impromptu unicycle clinic at Lo’s this past Friday. Lo, by the way is the president of Grand Cru. In the spirit of the Olympics, the evening started out with a torch lighting ceremony. Members of Grand Cru’s executive [...]

It’s Coming…!

OMG!… it’s coming.
The day I’ve been waiting for since, basically, last year when I got my first road bike (and then started hanging out with cool Team Rev gals who told me super sweet stories about racing).
Yep, race day numero uno, it’s almost here.
Being the over-eager competitor that I am, I set my desktop countdown [...]
