Since Team Rev’s two racers are out on the road, this was a well-timed entry. Big Ring’s sentiment rang true for Carrie and I as we rolled into the Walterboro, SC Cracker Barrel this morning…

I find that it is much easier to write about my bike racing failures (you know, like last weekend’s Hermann races) than it is to write about successful races.

It is my opinion that the state of Missouri should make being a cyclist a pre-requisite to being a motorist. The roads would be a safer place.

“I’m going down,” I think. I’m vaguely aware of a subconscious relief by such a revelation, but my gut instinct is to try and find a way out.

The “behind the counter mystique” associated with these drugs sparked my curiosity. I had to find out what their physical implications would be for cycling. How would they stack up to more socially acceptable energy supplements?

Sadly, I couldn’t find any pics of the women’s open races. I’m not convinced they don’t exist, but they are hidden beyond my own usually-powerful, sunday-night-slacking google-stalking skills. Would Delirium Tremens cause grandiose cycling or just delusions of grandeur?

Like a lot of cyclists, I started out on a pretty thick women’s specific saddle and, after breaking it in, I swore I would never use any other saddle.
